Covasna is visited by people from all over the country, referred by cardiologists, based on recommendations from the doctor, because here is a cardiology hospital, surrounded by a pine forest.

This center has facilities for warm baths with carbonated water, sources for internal treatment, electrotherapy, kinetic therapy and hydrotherapy, aerosols and inhalations, a gym and a hospital for cardiovascular disease, and two specialized sanatoria for the treatment of children sequelae which occurred after hepatitis.

The geographical location, geological composition of the region, and the height of the resort, about 560 m, lead to the development of a climate of alpine type, characterized by the presence of atmospheric aerosols with a high concentration of negative ions.
