Podu Iloaiei is a town in Iaşi County, Romania. It was declared a town in 2005.

The Battle of Podu Iloaiei was part of the First Jassy-Kishinev Offensive of World War II fought between the Germans and the Soviets. The battle was a reaction to the Soviet defeat suffered at the First Battle of Târgu Frumos. In the end of the battle the Germans managed to drive the Soviets back to the positions held before the battle.
